Coach Donald Brown will serve as the Defensive Coordinator for the Hardeeville Vikings for the 2023 football season. Brown will coach the Defensive Line, where he spent some of his playing career, as well as serve as the Associate Head Football Coach. In addition to his time paying on the defensive line, Brown also played both tailback and linebacker.

After his playing career came to a close, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida native decided to get into coaching the sport that he has always loved. "I got into coaching over eight years ago," Brown said. "What has kept me in coaching, is seeing the constant success of those players that I have been able to assist with reaching the next level of football.

"The best thing for me about coaching, is the bond that I am able to build with players, as they become better players, and better people in general. My goals in coaching are to continue to build players, as I have done in the past, and help guide and mold them into people of great character and high morals. I want to influence them with a winning mindset both on the field, and in life!"

For prospective student-athletes that are considering the Vikings for the next step of their football careers, they can rest easy in knowing that Coach Brown is a man and coach of the people, and he will do his best to teach them as much as he can in every avenue of life, including football!
